  • Jesus Christ gave us a new commandment to us, “…Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35, NIV)
  • We as disciples of Christ help feed the hungry by Food Drive Program (by Duke Grant and Tyrrell Church Association) at Tyrrell Hall(Hwy.64) on the South end of Columbia across from Andy’s and the Hess store.

Food Pantry Ministry

  • Help feed the hungry and make a difference by filling the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church food pantry bins and shelves. We need nutritious, non–perishable foods. Please ensure that all donations are nonperishable, do not require refrigeration, and have not expired. Also, we cannot accept any glass items.

Methodist Home for Children (MHFC)

  • In service to God, our mission to build upon the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual strengths of children, youth, and families, and to affirm their worth.
  • For more than 100 years, Methodist Home for Children (MHC) has provided care for North Carolina’s youth and families.

AA Meeting (8:00PM, Every Monday & Thursday Night)

  • We have been hosting AA Meeting at Wesley Memorial UMC over 40 years.
  • Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
