• 10/23(Sun, 11:00AM) we are celebrating our 97^th Homecoming and 136^th birthday of Wesley Memorial UMC.  We will have a covered dish luncheon in the annex following the service.
• 10/24(Mon, 6:30PM) Charge Conference at the sanctuary of Wesley Memorial UMC. In our charge conference, Lay Leader, Council/Board Chair, President of UMY, UMW, UMM, and Pastor will share four questions (1) How are you loving God?(2)How are you loving one another? (3)How are you loving your community? (4) What congregational growth goal(s) are you setting for 2012 related to each of the church’s critical drivers? [“Critical drivers” are those measurable determined by The Council of Bishops’ Vital Congregations Initiative. They include professions of faith, average worship attendance, the number of disciples engaged in doing mission outside the congregation, the number of small groups, and giving/stewardship. Growth in those areas leads to a stronger and healthier church.]
• 10/25(Tue, 5:30-6:30PM) Food Drive (by Duke Grant and Church Association) at the parking lot of Tyrrell Elementary School (a temporary place due to Hurricane Irene)  
• 10/27-30, Tyrrell County Tent Revival at Tyrrell Hall.
• 10/30(Sun, 3:00PM) 5^th Sunday service at Rehoboth UMC. Pastor James will deliver the message.
• 11/6 (Sun, 11:00AM) A loving celebration of Mr. L.B. Windley for his devotion to Wesley Memorial UMC. We will have a covered dish luncheon in the annex following the service.
• 11/13 (Sun, 3:00-5:00PM) Laity Workshop at Edenton UMC
